‘Necessity is the mother of invention’ and safe to say, the development of Kakadu Plum Skin Ointment was deeply rooted in years of personal experience. As parents of a young child with eczema, we tried remedies and products from major brands, but our son would always burst into tears as the burning sensation from the chemicals was too much for him – and for us!

We knew there had to be a safer alternative – so we turned to nature and In Awe Australia was born.

In Awe Australia is truly a Australian success story. Family-owned and operated, our vision is to make safe and natural products from natural Australian ingredients, showcasing their incredible properties for healing and protecting the skin.

Our main product, the popular Kakadu Plum Skin Ointment has been designed for the most sensitive skin in mind and is also gentle enough to be used on infants. Harnessing the Super-fruit Kakadu Plum which has up to 100 times the Vitamin C content of an orange and formulating that, the ointment has also been infused with natural beeswax which acts as a protective, breathable layer on the skin’s surface to keep your skin soft, supple and hydrated.

Utilising the natural healing properties of the Kakadu Plum, our ointment has been formulated to help nourish the skin, creating a protective barrier which aids the healing process, and has anti-inflammatory properties to help soothe irritation.
